Both HHA and PCA caregivers are certified professionals who provide loving care to elderly and/or disabled patients. These amazing caregivers assist the patient with daily activities all within the comfort of the patient’s home.

PCAs often assist patients more closely because they help them with their errands, cooking and housekeeping. HHAs generally focus more on the health and safety aspects of their patients and their daily tasks, such as bathing and grooming, rather than assisting them with their errands or housekeeping activities. Besides checking vital signs and administering medication, HHAs can also perform certain medical procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse or nurse practitioner.
